About the Role: We are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager with proven experience in the packaging industry, particularly in engaging with end-users and brand owners. We represent a number of oversee mills within the Indian market and are looking to grow our team with a strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for value-added solutions. Your focus will be on developing new business opportunities, strengthening key relationships, and helping position our offering as a go-to solution provider in the packaging space. This is a high- impact role with a balance of strategic planning and hands-on sales execution. Key Responsibilities: Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging market, focusing on sectors where value-added solutions are in demand. Customer Engagement: Build and deepen relationships with end-users, converters, and brand owners, understanding their specific needs and challenges. Value-Added Selling: Promote packaging solutions with enhanced features (e.g., sustainability, design innovation, performance) tailored to customer objectives. Account Management: Oversee and grow strategic accounts while prospecting new clients and market segments. Sales Strategy: Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and product positioning to increase market share. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, technical, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitor movements, and customer insights to inform business strategy. Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within the domestic market, with occasional international travel as required. Qualifications: 5+ years of business development or sales experience in value-added sales, preferably within the packaging industry. Demonstrated success working with end-users and brand owners, providing consultative and solution-based selling. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Commercially driven with the ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
