Key Responsibilities: Data Management & Workflow Oversight Own and manage the daily flow of operational and sales data from multiple sources including ERP systems, spreadsheets, and external imports. Clean, structure, and merge data sets to ensure consistency, reliability, and usability across departments. Maintain data integrity and ensure timely updates across platforms, accompanied by thorough documentation of data processes. Insight Generation & Analytical Support Regularly analyse import, sales, and supplier data to identify anomalies, trends, inconsistencies, and business opportunities. Leverage global trade data and macroeconomic indicators to inform internal forecasting and strategy. Conduct in-depth analysis of global market trends and import/export patterns to support strategic planning and decision-making. Sales Control & Commercial Analysis Monitor sales performance metrics, pricing strategies, and order flow to support commercial control functions. Ensure accurate reporting on sales KPIs, providing actionable insights to sales leaders and executive stakeholders. Support the development and enforcement of sales governance processes. Reporting & Automation Build and maintain automated templates and tools in Excel, Python, Power BI, or Tableau to streamline recurring reporting tasks. Assist in building dashboards and custom reports to enhance visibility across commercial, logistics, and finance teams. Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles, ensuring data-driven insights are delivered clearly and effectively. Collaboration & Business Partnering Work closely with management teams to translate business questions into data-driven recommendations. Provide ongoing support for ad hoc data requests and strategic projects across cross-functional teams. Requirements: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data validation, automation via formulas/macros). Confident and fast in data manipulation using Python (pandas) or SQL. Detail-oriented, methodical, and reliable — thrives in a fast-moving environment. Excellent communicator — able to explain data clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with import/export, sales, or procurement data a strong plus. Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a bonus.
