Position Overview Location: Remote (India) Schedule: Flexible shifts aligned to UK/Canada/US client needs Work Days: Monday to Saturday As an Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in supporting our international clients by handling day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and month-end processes. You will work closely with mid-level and senior managers, contributing to the accuracy and completeness of financial records, and ensuring timely delivery of reports in line with CFO Incorporated’s high standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Record and process daily sales and purchase invoices with accuracy. Perform daily bank and deposit reconciliations. Prepare supplier and customer account reconciliations. Assist in month-end close process including preparation of journals with proper backups. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly. Prepare workings for statutory filings (VAT, GST/HST, Sales Tax, etc.). Assist in preparing year-end audit working papers. Support variance analysis and prepare commentary for management review. Contribute to intercompany and payroll processing. Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives as required. Core Competencies & Required Skills Accounting Skills Solid foundation in double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations. Understanding of financial statements and month-end processes. Basic knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation rules (VAT/GST/HST). Technical Proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, reconciliations). Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar is an advantage. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and tools. Communication Skills Strong written and verbal English skills. Ability to clearly document work and communicate effectively with team leads. Professional approach when dealing with client queries and tasks. Attention to Detail High degree of accuracy in processing and reconciliations. Ability to identify and correct errors promptly. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of professional accounting experience. Experience with reconciliations, bookkeeping, and month-end closing processes. Prior exposure to working with international clients preferred.
