Cosmogence is currently seeking a highly skilled Ruby Engineer with experience in automated testing using Rspec or other frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for building high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications
• Write automated tests using Rspec or other testing frameworks
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of technical documentation

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails and Web development
• Experience with automated testing using Rspec or other frameworks
• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of background processing and Sidekiq
• Shopify Apps experience is a plus
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis and MongoDB
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
• Familiarity with Git and version control
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary range: 61k-63k usd/year
