Job Description:

This position requires candidates with strong knowledge and proven experience in Python who can deliver quality reusable, scalable, efficient code in Python for both web and non web solutions. Ideal Candidates should have a keen eye for requirements and architecture. Candidates will be involved in analysis , design, development deployment and testing of software modules using Python and related tools and technologies. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing application development from the initial specification, through to developing, bug fix and launching. You are also expected to suggest continuous improvement to the system.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience in Python backend development using framework like Django, Flask or Pyramid
• Design and develop scalable and secure Rest APIs 
• Demonstrate good development practices in Python
•  Testing, and Documenting APIs
• Good exposure to popular databases like Postgres, MySQL and MongoDB
• Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts and Experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Good understanding of front-end technologies
• Strong knowledge of the common web server exploits and their solutions
• Familiarity with limitations of python as a platform and its workarounds
• Develop and execute unit tests
• Interaction with customers
• Report status updates as required by the project
• Follow established project execution processes
• Monitor the application as per the schedule
• Resolve queries/issues and provide Application/functional support to teammates
• Build holistic understanding of applications & underlying domain being supported
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge in Docker, Jenkins is an added advantage
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills

• AWS experience in developing lambdas in Python along with exposure in using AWS services EC2, ECS, RDS, SNS, SQS, S3, Cloud Watch
• Experience in HealthCare Domain
• Experience in Start-up companies
