Job Description:

We are looking for a DevOps engineer with a web stack focus to join our team. This individual will be eager and likes to stay on the front end of industry trends and has a passion for learning and improvement. As a member of our development team, you’ll be a critical piece in building state of the art applications to support our digital needs, using cutting edge technologies like AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Node, Vue.JS and GraphQL. You should work with a team of developers in determining and executing best practices through peer review, pull requests, and regular collaboration

Required Skills:

3+ years of DevOps experience, including in depth knowledge and proven experiences of AWS and Docker 

3+ years of experience developing or supporting website architecture

Help monitor and support Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and AWS. These clusters have over a thousand containers of GraphQL, Vue.JS and other applications to support our Web services and CMS

Experience with AWS, including EC2, ALB, S3, and Route53

Proficient at building Linux environments using Docker containers 

Knowledgeable in CI/CD services

Strong knowledge using Application Performance Monitoring (APM), using tools like New Relic, Data dog or AppDynamics

Solid developer workflow skills using tools like JIRA, GIT as well as browser debugging tools

Experience using AWS EC2, ALB and Route53 

Ability to work in a rapid development production environment on time-sensitive projects and tasks 

Experience writing queries using GraphQL  

Proficient at coding in JavaScript 

Experience with Vue.js or React 

Knowledgeable GitHub Actions is a plus 

Solid understanding and experience in security for web services
