Float is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to increase product and engineering team autonomy, improve service resilience, and enhance security systems.

• Supporting regular maintenance of engineering systems
• Identifying areas for improving service resilience
• Optimizing monitoring and observability stack
• Building disaster recovery program
• Migrating deployment configurations
• Expanding infrastructure across multiple regions

• Excellent understanding of how SRE operates as an enabling team
• Very good understanding of Service Level Objectives
• Working experience with Terraform, Bash, and a go-to language
• Experience with Kubernetes and GCP
• Remote experience and comfortable with asynchronous communication
• Previous experience with tools like Slack, Loom, and Linear
• Deep work time management skills
