Prisma is building the data layer for modern applications, seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Rust and relational databases to expand and improve the Prisma Query Engine.

• Expand and improve the Core of the Prisma Query Engine
• Collaborate with a team of engaged engineers
• Create solutions for developers at all experience levels
• Create well-tested and documented code
• Develop and improve the Prisma Client
• Communicate fluently in English

• 5+ Years experience as a Senior Software Engineer or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with Rust, ideally in a professional environment
• Proficient in one or more major relational databases with expertise in indexing and tailored schema design
• Fluent in English with clear written communication skills
• Enjoy working closely with peers and seeking to help others
• Value planning and task estimation
• Experience with systems-level programming
• Experience or willingness to work with TypeScript and JavaScript codebases
